Expect Real Life Learning.
All our 8 programs are based on Competency-Based Education (CBE) :
- We value Curriculum Creation with the Learner, instead of a top-down learning approach.
- We focus on project-based learning. This allows the learner to explore his interests within a mid to long-term time frame to acquire relevant skills.
- Our assessments are skills-based. Both academic and vocational skills are equally desirable, and respectable. What matters is if the skills fit the child and family’s learning disposition, pace, and desired solutions.
- CBE is closest to how the real world works. We believe our graduating families and learners will be recognised by institutions and employers (following the demands of the 21st-century workforce).
Expect Self-Care.
Our Calendar is designed around Self-Care :
- Remember 4 + 2, 4 + 2. For every 4 months of community activities, we rest 2 months. This allows families of schooling and unschooling children to take needed holidays.
- We make our leaders rest. No work meetings happen during the breaks. If they do happen, we work towards reducing them for the future. We do not believe in pushing our minds over our bodies. Both the mind and body must align to have an optimal living experience.
- Little U community members are welcome to organise their own meet ups during breaks. This is completely organic!

Our Social Mission is to offer premium education to the ones left behind, or the ones who have nowhere to go. We are open to everyone but in particular, we wish to work with :
Homeschooling families who seek a long-term community for growth and social outreach.
Families of neurodivergent children whose caregivers are willing to take responsibility for their children’s education. We will build up your child’s education with you. We are willing to journey with you for the years ahead.
School children who suffer school refusal and learning trauma. We will work closely with your parents, therapist(s), school leaders, social workers, and agencies to get you safe and healed so that you can pick yourself up without harm.
We offer financial assistance for low income families on a case by case basis.
Enrolment opens twice a year.
