MK Bertulfo is a Filipina entrepreneur, community builder, and advocate for women’s economic empowerment. What began in 2017 as a simple Facebook group — FHMoms, Filipina Homebased Moms — has grown into the largest online community for work-from-home moms in the Philippines, with over 535,000 members.

From that foundation, MK built an ecosystem of organisations dedicated to helping women access dignified, flexible work. She is the Co-Founder and CEO of GetHired Online, Co-Founder and President of Code Empower, and Co-Founder and CSMO of RevConnex Solutions — platforms that collectively deliver training, mentorship, hiring support, and digital access programmes, including a Computer Rent-to-Own initiative for moms entering the workforce.

MK has been recognised by major media including CNN, GMA, ABS-CBN, Tatler, and Smart Parenting, and has participated in accelerators and incubators such as Alibaba Global Initiatives, YSEALI, Facebook Accelerator, and the AIM–Dado Banatao Incubator.

She speaks from lived experience — as a mother who built something meaningful without connections, capital, or a roadmap. Her work sits at the intersection of community design, workforce development, and social impact.

The Little U Guest Speaker Series is both a knowledge sharing and career guidance platform that gently allows children and their families to understand different paths available. We link these paths to individuals whose stories reflect the breadth and depth of their decisions, and the sacrifices involved. Come with a desire to learn from the best. In one hour, they will share their life story around the questions below, and then take questions from you.

  • What is your job? 
  • Why do you do what you do? 
  • How did you get started? 
  • How would you advise others? 
  • What do they need to do to get there?

Join us monthly from January to April 2026, on the 1st Saturdays of the month.
Do note : Unless our speaker is on the other side of the world, the sessions are usually from 10am-11am.
Each ticket is a zoom link for the upcoming session.

What to Expect Each Session 

  1. A 20 mins sharing & 40 mins for Q&A.
    We love asking our guest speakers questions. If they wish to share a longer story, they will cap it at 30 mins so that there is ample time to take questions later.
  2. A backstory on their journey to success, or where they are now.
    The speakers did not get to where they are without a meaningful struggle. They will be honest about their ups and downs so that we can appreciate the richness of their careers. Life is not linear.
  3. They will speak at a level understandable to 15 year-olds.
    Pitching to a 15 yo range would be broad enough to cover a wide demography. We welcome advanced tweens and parents to join the Guest Speaker Series if you are a curious learner!
  4. Slides and some reels are useful to help the audience visualise what they mean.
    Sensitive materials will be edited out for the recording, according to the guest speaker’s requirements. If you don’t want to miss out, join the session as a participant.
